Ronald McDonald House Guest Chefs!

Comcast SportsNet employees visited the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House recently and fed the families dinner as part of the House's Guest Chef program. The families were treated to a home cooked meal which included turkey breast, country shepard's pie, pot roast, plus wonderful desserts including cupcakes and pies.

Marshall Harris Takes a Spin!

Comcast SportsNet's Marshall Harris spins the wheel as part of Citadel's Grand Opening Celebration of their new Brookhaven, PA branch. The baseball-themed Grand Opening featured free food, games, rides and raffles and a special appearance by Mitch Williams. The Brookhaven Citadel is located at 4923 Edgmont Avenue.

Cycling For a Cure!

The Comcast SportsNet team joined together with nearly 5000 cyclists for the the 2008 American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon on Sunday, July 13. This annual event unites teams of cancer survivors, family and friends - including cyclists of all ages to help raise money for the American Cancer Society's research, education, advocacy and patient service programs in the Philadelphia-area. Eliminate The Caps

More than 4,500 hats were collected as part of Comcast SportsNet and 610WIP's "Eliminate The Caps" promotion. The hats were donated to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House and the Salvation Army. A Gala Event

Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia President Stephanie Smith (center) joins Phil Martelli, Bruiser Flint, Jay Wright and Fran Dunphy at the 5th Annual Coaches vs. Cancer BasketBall Gala. Comcast SportsNet is a proud partner of this event which raised more than $500,000. Proceeds from the benefit will support both the American Cancer Society and the Hope Lodge for cancer patients and their families.

Joesph Fynes of Glenolden, PA was the lucky winner of Comcast SportsNet's 2008 Bracket Challenge. He gets to enjoy his favorite sports team on a brand new 42" HDTV provided by Barnaby's of America.
